Own business (and business ID)

When invoicing through your own company, you obtain and pay for all the insurances yourself, possibly hire an accountant to whom you pay for his/her services, and you probably pay for various programs and tools to invoice and do the accounting. You will have many of these expenses even when your activity is quieter. However, you do not pay (invoicing company's) service fees. The payment that a client pays into your account is your company's money, which is used to pay various taxes such as VAT and how you can transfer your company's money to your own account and how it is taxed depends entirely on the type of company you choose.

Light entrepreneur through an invoicing service

In addition to the withholding tax on the tax card, an invoicing service deducts a service fee from the salary of a light entrepreneur in connection with every salary payment. There are no running or hidden costs; You pay for the service when you use it. The earnings-related pension and unemployment insurance contribution are not deducted, but you yourself are obliged to acquire and pay a so-called YEL insurance and other insurances, if required for your operations. If you have a valid YEL insurance, a health insurance contribution will also be deducted from your salary.

Umbrella employee through Invoicery

When invoicing as an umbrella employee, it is important to remember that the salary must correspond, at least, to the minimum amount of the collective agreement in the sector in question. The customer must be informed that he/she will be invoiced, in addition to the salary, for the employer's pension insurance and unemployment insurance, Invoicery's 8% service fee, employee's holiday pay or compensation, sick pay if applicable and other possible expenses. Liability, accident and group life insurances and the compulsory part of occupational health care are automatically included in Invoicery's service fee. Invoicery takes care of employer's responsibilities and paperwork. There are no running costs: the client pays for the service according to the actual use. Both the withholding tax according to your own tax card and the employee's share of the earnings-related pension contribution and the unemployment insurance contribution are deducted from your own salary, just like in any employment relationship.
